Makkinga Contracting & Equipment Rentals is currently accepting resumes for  FULL TIME OPERATORS to start work as soon as possible.

Applicants must be able to perform skilled work in the operation of heavy construction equipment, often serving as a crew leader overseeing these operations.

Work involves the safe and efficient operation of heavy construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and graders. Work includes the use of trench boxes, the construction of roads, sewer and watermain installation and other projects. Applicants must be able to work long days and weekends.  There is a possibility the successful applicants will be required to work outside of the City of Thunder Bay in areas such as Sioux Lookout and Nestor Falls.

 We are specifically looking for TWO Excavator Operators for Backfill and ONE Front-end Loader Operator.
