Makkinga Contracting & Equipment Rentals has developed an excellent occupational health and safety program. Commmitment to the health and safety of our workers, subcontractors, customers and the public are our first priority.  Our current program assures that our safety performance is a result of continual evaluation and implementation of company and industry-wide best practices. We provide all necessary training for our employees to ensure they understand the risks of their jobs and work in a safe and healthy manner at all times. 

We work with the Ministry of Labour Ontario, Infrastructure Health and Safety Association of Ontario, and the Mines and Aggregates Safety and Health Association to eliminate occupational injuries and illnesses.
