HEALTH AND SAFETY Makkinga Contracting & Equipment Rentals has developed an excellent occupational health and safety manual which is available by request. We provide all necessary training for our employees to ensure they understand the risks of their jobs and work in a safe and healthy manner at all times. As an active participant in the WSIB SAFETY GROUPS program, sponsored by the Construction Association of Thunder Bay, we have developed a well maintained and proactive policy and program. By networking with other companies with active health and safety programs and sharing our information with other businesses we are raising awareness of the large amount of potential hazards the construction industry faces daily.
